Latest Finished project.
2010-Oct-24, Sunday 01:15This is sort of a test too. The latest version of Semagic seems to think that it can upload images now. Let's see how that works. It looks like I'll have to switch to Flickr instead of photobucket. I guess that's okay. *shrug*
This project was made with Lion Brand's Amazing Yarn. The colorway is called Wildflowers.
This is a soft fuzzy wool blend self striping yarn. The stitch used is a Diagonal block stitch and I really love the way the striping worked out. The yarn is just lovely to work with, and has the feel of a hand spun yarn with one ply and slightly varying degrees of thickness. I've been looking for an opportunity to work with this yarn for a long time. The scarf came out really nice. It'll be a nice second option for my bluish pea coat. I made one of these out of wool-ease last year and I liked it a lot, but this color is really gorgeous. I guess I ought to buy enough to make a matching hat too.

Here's one pic. You can click it to see full size.
