I deleted an entry, but don't worry!

You probably didn't even see it since it was only up for about 15 minutes and it was 4am EST.  Don't worry, it was only a test to make sure my backgrounds were working correctly for my comment page.  I know some of my friends aren't really a big fan of my animated falling snow background. Lol. But if there has to be snow in winter, at I at least want to have it be cute animated snow.  This was one of several layouts I'll be able to salvage after PB became a bad service.  The graphics were stored on LJ somewhere, but for the life of me I don't know which test site they were on, or how to access them now.  So I put them on Imgur and relinked. This one was one of the simplest, with only 7 gpx total used.  I did have to modify the header as LJ's now mandatory (apparently) banner was sitting on top of the top third of it. It took a MINUTE to figure out how to fix it and I'm annoyed that I couldn't just change the code to move that one graphic down 125px but that didn't work in any of the dozen or so permutations I tried in the code. So I resorted to changing the size of the gpx itself to force it down from under the nav banner.  Now it's working.  And I didn't write at ALL tonight because I started watching The Wheel of Time.

Tomorrow is my day off, and now that I have ONE working Layout using bloggish (which apparently LJ doesn't SHOW you anymore, but which you can use if you already have one using it. I'll probably mod the code for my autumn one tomorow since it's not technically winter yet, (though I tend to think of Samhain as the first day of winter since the solstice is literally called "Midwinter" I don't think it's the first day of winter. lol. Just like Beltane should be the first day of spring and the Equinox the middle of spring. Anyway, that's another discussion. LOL I'm going to bed now. It's way past even MY bedtime.
