Writer's Block: Lesson learned

[Error: unknown template qotd]
I'm pretty sure that it was more like something I taught everyone around me. I spent most of my Junior High career turning my back on people who were trying to pick fights with me because I was different, and not a herd beast who wanted to be just like everyone else, and just walking away from fights.  What I taught them was that I did it because I didn't want to hurt them, not because I was afraid of them.  They learned that there was, in fact, eventually a limit to what I would take.

What I learned I guess was unfortunately that often you only have to fight back once if you do it well enough. After that, nobody has the gall to mess with you themselves, because they don't want the same thrashing someone else got for pushing to far.
