Firstly, let me note I fully agree with you in this rant. While I am an atheist, I used to dabble in paganism (it was my last, best, hope at finding a religion or spirituality which worked for me. Like Babylon 5, it failed. Nonetheless, I have plenty of pagan/wiccan/etc friends, and respect their faith as much as I respect any (and a lot more than I respect some...)), and I feel it is abominable that practitioner of some religions are considered 'less equal' than others in the eyes of the military. (And I'd love to get those who consider wiccan or pagan faiths to be 'less real' than other religions locked into a good, no-holds-barred debate. IME, they run scurrying as soon as they find out they're not dealing with someone whose style of argument is limited to quoting bumper stickers. But I digress.)
IAE, the above is, to be honest, secondary to my main reason for posting this, which is to ask if you are the same Ishte who posted a profile on OKCupid in late April? (I am not a psychotic stalker, I am currently happily involved and not looking for a cyber-quickie (or a non-cyber quickie, for that matter), I just saw your profile and said "I must at least try to get to know this Very Cool Person better".
