Hahahah.. political quiz?

Really, this is so far from reality as to be almost laughable.  Well maybe Ron Paul should be close... though you note it's still only 67%... but he's practically a libertarian.

((Edit: Oh yah.. stole it from [livejournal.com profile] gangrel_pri))

62% Mitt Romney
61% Ron Paul
60% Fred Thompson
55% John McCain
52% Rudy Giuliani
50% Mike Huckabee
49% Bill Richardson
48% Tom Tancredo
46% Mike Gravel
44% Chris Dodd
43% Dennis Kucinich
40% Joe Biden
39% Hillary Clinton
39% John Edwards
37% Barack Obama

Tell me why. I thought I might like Edwards in 2004, but never felt like I knew enough about him, and then he was out of it so... but I need to know more about him. So what is it you like about him?

The meme said I did. Personally I hate them all. I'd rather vote for the idiot down the street than any of them

So, umm...

who are you more likely to vote for, then? I had a similar "yeah, right" moment when my results popped up.

oh OH! haha I thought you meant that you weren't surprised because you DID like him. That's why I was asking what you liked about him.

To be honest, I'm not entirely sure yet. If Guiliani makes the republican ticket, I'll vote for him against any of the Dem front runners. I wish we had a viable libertarian candidate... but until they stop putting themselves forward as the drug legalization party instead of showing people what they really stand for, they party will continue to be marginalized.

Um... for Dem's I really want to see Obama's health care plan. He says he has one.. so what is it? We have to do something about health care... We have to. And we can't make it go back to how it used to be before the big government got involved in it... so we have to go national like it or not. So I want to see a national care plan like what Japan has in place and NOT NOT NOT like the bullshit Canada has. So I want to see his.

Hillary, I'm pretty sure she would dearly love to put in place Canada's system complete with the no personal choice of doctors, dicouraged second opinions and long long long waits for even essential testing to diagnose life threatening illnesses. My dad would be dead already if he had had to wait for his MRIs and PET scans as long as a typical Canadian does when they have a health problem. I have to wonder how long he'd have waited even to have his biopsy scheduled.

I need to read up on Edwards and see what he stands for. Right now all I have about him really is rhetoric from his opposition, so I need to hear some from the other side about him. What little I've heard him say, I have liked, but I haven't heard enough.

I think I might like Ron Paul too.. but again, I need to find out more about him... and then I'm going to have to decide if it's more important for me to have a say in the Dem or the Rep nomination. I register accordingly each year.

Ohio sucks in this regard... and being an influential state, it is even more of a suckness... The people of Ohio should have a say in BOTH nominations since BOTH effect us even if we are the opposition party or whatever. Democrats will be effected by the Republican nomination if that party wins in the general election, so they should have a say in who the Republicans get... it keeps things more in the center were more people are represented more fully.

I think he is the least of the evils but i can't remember why. Maybe because he was one of the few that my Republican brother liked in the other camp
