Mostly Civilians

Never forget.
Freedom is not Free.
It is a privilege.
Freedom requires constant vigilance.
I would kill or die for my freedom.

I'm not dwelling on it. I'm remembering in important anniversary in our history.

And I don't think memorials to honor the dead and those of us who remember on the anniversary qualifies as 'harping on it either. It's important that we not allow this to happen again.

The Oklahoma bombing isn't discussed much any more because that case at least has closure. The perpetrator is *rightly* dead.

Don't get me wrong....I respect how you feel about that awful day. And yes we should be vigilant...you'd think the government would have learned about that from Pearl Harbor. Apparently not.

And we have the Freedom to state how we feel about things, without fear of repercussions. For which I'm eternally grateful.

As for that Oklahoma Bombing...*snort*....they didn't get the right person. Have you forgotten the little news about the soldiers boot and leg they found in the rubble...that didn't match up with anyone that was supposed to be there? Trust me the officials suppressed that bit very quickly. *waving hand* Well officially it's been solved, case closed.

I just wish the media would stop sensationalizing the 9/11 incident, and constantly hunting down the remaining immediate surviving family members.

It happened....now time to move on with our lives, without forgetting.

I believe the saying is "Least we forget"
