And another from
taocub. My finger in the eye to all the people over many years who have assumed or speculated that just because I don't constantly have a man to hang on my every word, that I must be gay or not like men... here is my result. I'm a 1.24... and frankly I probably only got that because I socialize with all sexual orientations equally, and I was honest in answer the question about fantasies, where have had a weird dream where I am Cloud Strife having sex with Tifa hahahah... (I counted that as a fantasy... I wonder what my score would be without that. I don't think that quite counts either, because even when I was dreaming I was Cloud, I was still having sex with the opposite sex from who I was at that moment! hahahaha!
Note: I think it's Weird that if you spend your leisure time primarily with people of the same sex that raises your homosexuality. As I recall, most women spend their leisure time hanging out with the girls... (talking about their men, or shopping, sewing, simming or whatever) as far back as I can remember. Same goes for men, leisure time is spent with other men, (watching the game, playing pool, hunting, fishing etc. And yes, I realize that these are stereotypical pastimes I'm mentioning.) Girls hang out together and boys hang out together. Seems to me that people who preferred to hang out with the opposite sex in leisure time would be more likely to have higher homosexual ratings... A guy who would rather go shopping with the girls than fishing with the guys... a girl who would rather watch football with the guys than do sew baby quilts with the girls.
Klein Sexual Orientation Grid
I scored an average of
1.24| Heterosexual | Bisexual | Homosexual |
Meaning
This result can also be related to the Kinsey Scale:
0 = exclusively heterosexual
1 = predominantly heterosexual, incidentally homosexual
2 = predominantly heterosexual, but more than incidentally homosexual
3 = equally heterosexual and homosexual
4 = predominantly homosexual, but more than incidentally heterosexual
5 = predominantly homosexual, incidentally heterosexual
6 = exclusively homosexual
Summary
The idea of this exercise is to understand exactly how dynamic a person's sexual orientation can be, as well as how fluid it can be over a person's lifespan. While a person's number of actual homo/heterosexual encounters may be easy to categorize, their actual orientation may be completely different. Simple labels like "homosexual", "heterosexual", and "bisexual" need not be the only three options available to us.

Information
The Multidimensional Scale of Sexuality was devised by Larry Kurdek, B. Berkey and T. Perelman-Hall. It is an extension of the Klein Sexual Orientation Grid, recognising that sexual identities can change over time, people can identify with more than one sexual identity, and that asexuality is a valid sexual identity. The Multidimensional Scale of Sexuality was published in the
"Journal of Homosexuality" in 1990.
