Bah...BAH!
2006-Mar-04, Saturday 20:53Why oh WHY is it that I can use body shop to export a perfectly gorgeous skin for Sims2... make an eensy weensy change to one corner of only the face files of the skin, and save it.. .but when Body shop loads it up again, not only is the whole skin BLURRY... but everything else including the clothing (not even related to the skin itself any more) and the hair (also unrelated) eye colors, eye makeup and every other aspect of my sim suddenly not my beautiful sim, but a blur blur blur! what's the deal with that? hey? Just look at this crap!

See the difference? You can't even SEE her freckles and that's not even part of what I edited. it's completely separate... I don't get it. Does anyone else know why this happened and what I can do about it. Poor Dyana... her teenage version needs her braces. I made them for her, but I can't seem to put them on because of this.
Update: I decided to go into the game and see how it looked there. I had read on Mod the Sims and other place about people having problems with that in Body Shop but that they looked fine in the game. So I tried it. NO... it was not better. In fact, in the game it was even WORSE. I have generally found that my sims look better (clearer) in body shop than they do in game. So I don't know why I believed that. So anyway, i'm still seeking answers for why my poor little Dyana is so blurry when I try to customize her skintone.
