Small Ranty
2006-Nov-10, Friday 17:22Dear people I send email to:
1. If I send you an email that does not say something like "Hey check out this link, it's cool" as in I am actually saying something directly to you or asking you something specific, please DO have the courtesy to at least acknowledge that you saw that I sent you an email about something. It is to the point now where literally 90% of the emails I send out don't even get acknowledged IN ANY WAY. I'm on the verge of changing my OE settings to require a return receipt one every single email I send out because I'm starting to wonder if the majority of my emails are even being delivered since so few of them seem to merit an acknowledgment, much less a response. Needless to say, It makes me feel very wanted and loved by my friends and family, many of whom I communicate with more via email than any other means because of my hearing loss.
2. Please do not email me with the subject "hi ishte". If you do it will from now on be marked as spam sent directly to my deleted box. Someone has apparently been kind enough to collect my email address and sell it to a million people all of whom send me emails every day entitled "hi ishte" and are not from anyone I know. Other filters will also include "it's thomas :)" or "it's sally :)" or "it's whoever :)" since that is an additional spam that has been going on.
Thanks
Ishte
