Painted my nails again

Normally when I paint them the paint job lasts me about a week with only very minor touch ups if any. This week though, I damaged a nail on something at work. Not sure what, but I wanted to do damage control before it got any worse. I also wanted to see how the last paint job would look in silver and black. I like it pretty well. It's amazing how a little glitter will hide a dozen small flaws hahahaha... (I put this under Crochet and Crafts *snicker* because I don't want to make a new tag just for crap like nails. It's a craft. Yes... yes it is.)

Very nice! My fingernails are still recovering from a botched manicure. You'd think a manicurist would LISTEN to the customer when said customer tells them to NOT grind on the nailbed!

Yah, seriously... when I do mine, I take off the polish with a non-acetone remover with gelatin, and then I just very lightly puff the surface of the nail to give the base coat a little something to grab onto. Always use a base coat too. It keeps the nail from drying out and helps the rest stay on and not chip. I always use a good topcoat too. I wish I had my own nail dryer.

Really it looks like my fingernails were put into a meat grinder. Not the nicest sight.

You know what I learned....a regular hair dryer on low setting works very nicely as a nail dryer!
