These Dreams
I was having a very strange straange dream just now. A call came in from an English speaking customer who needed to speak with the office of the President of the United States and wanted our help. Apparently there was some kind of threat that they needed to know about, and apparently that was a part of our job now, to relay calls. The problem was that the caller was an English speaker, and the person who needed to speak to the highest office in the land was a Spanish speaker. She was going to be speaking from beyond the grave through the English speaking girl who did not understand Spanish and could not translate it into English. So we were asked to act as a relay. Apparently instead of taking calls individually now, we also worked as a three man team. So I had two teammates. My Spanish is not good enough to rely on for this any more. One of my partners didn't speak any at all, and my other partner was quite fluent. I got permission from our supervisor to do the relay. Right as we were starting, though, I woke up, so I didn't get to see how much of the conversation I would understand.
