The five c's: Computer, Clothes Cash, Cat and the Car. 

1.) Computer: Why? duh... I wouldn't be able to blog about my great escape otherwise.
2.) Clothes: Why? again, duh.
3.) Cash: Why? Duh... I mean seriously... just DUH!
4.) Cat: Why? some more duh... I mean yah, like I'd leave without her?
5.) Car: Why? Well duh? how else am I going to escape with my stuff? Also the bike is usually mounted to the back of the car, so yah.

Some people actually have a "grab and dash" bag near their front door. I know I have in a large envelope, in a secure spot, my passport a tiny bit of money (which seems to be shrinking at an alarming rate), my birth certificate, credit card and car title. That way if all hell breaks loose I can grab it and run.

Hmmm....maybe I should also have a grab and dash bag at the ready eh?
