"OMG, LOOKATME! I really am just that cute!"

Pattern Used:
Baby Snow Dragon by Marjorie Jones
Yarn Used:
Deborah Norville Chunky Weight Yarn in the colorway "Cotton Candy" with a boye G hook

Top color is Cotton Candy.
This yarn was very nice to work with.
Satisfaction Level: Very high.
Comments: I wanted to make this for a very long time. And then I had this Serenety Chunky and wanted to make something out of it but didn't have enough of this color to make a whole blanky... Then I thought "Oh my gosh this would be soooo cute as that baby dragon!" So there it was. It was really fairly easy to make. I stuffed the spines, and I'm not sure I was supposed to. I didn't stuff the ears but they are a little farther up the head than they probably should be. I think I will make some little round half dollar sized wings for her. You know.. baby wings. ^_^ I did not make the 'eyelids' because I liked how her face looked better without them. What you can't see here is that her eyes are clear safety eyes, which I painted the iris background a sparkly blue which offsets the face really nicely.... Wait, I took a pic:

In closing, I really love this baby dragon and plan to make more of them.
ETA: I got cuter. I growed some wings!

Wingies:
1. 5sc in magic ring.
2. 2sc in each sc (10sc)
3. *1 sc in first 2 sc in next* (15sc)
4. *sl next two, sc,dc,sc in next* (this should work out to the sc,dc,sc cluster falling into the increase. It will form a tiny star.
after your last sc,dc,sc cluster just sl sticht across to the next corner finish off with a tail, and use that row of the star to sew onto the dragon's back vertically between the arms and the spines
