Definitely the correct definition for a Chihuahua. They do NOT know they are small dogs, and if you try and tell them they are a wee one...well they can get rather huffy about it!
Case in point was my 5 lb Yoda who was pissed off that a big black bear was in HIS yard late one night. He attacked and chased said bear out of the yard, nipping at the bear's paws the entire time. Or the time he chased a large pack of "big brave" hunting dogs up through the middle of town and cornered them in a cattle pen. (Those two events are still talked about in this blink you miss it spot in the road) 'Course there is also the time he met up with the young Bobcat living next door with Bob & Erma. Cat was convinced Yoda was NOT a dog, dog was convinced Beebee was NOT a cat. Simultaneous smacking of heads and they were enemies from that day forward...but it didn't bother Yoda...HE was THE dog and that's all there was to it.
Or McGyver going after dogs twice his size and hanging onto their necks simply because they dared to wander onto HIS property.
Or Benu, who was about half Chi, going after semis, motorcycles, people on bicycles....but his biggest hatred were the semis.
Or Qisa, who was 3/4 Chi...well..he was just nuts period.
