MS 150
Ok people, I know that a LOT of you are aware that I'm riding in the MS 150. This is my first year on the Long Distances segment of Team Demon... the so called A-Team, last year consisted of two people. this year there are four as
evilpenguini and I join for the MS 150. Well I finally got my entrance fee done, so I have my donation page set up.
Please go and place your donation now. In order to participate in the ride, Team Demon has a team fundraising goal of $1000, and I have an individual goal as a part of the A-Team to meet of $200. This goes to fund MS Reseach as well as supporting various programs to help meet the needs of MS patients all over the country. I have probably mentioned to some of you that this disease effects me personally. Thank goodness I don't have it, but it effects me because the wife of my cousin is diagnosed. My friend Sean is being slowly torn apart by it. Tim's wife went blind before it killed her. Tammy's mom suffered from it to. So I have seen what this disease can do to someone. It's devastating. Please support our cause, and donate what you can. It's definitely worth something. I've seen how much treatment has improved since I first heard of this disease in elementary school, when I first became involved with fund raising for it. Back then they could barely diagnose it. By the time Tim's wife died, there were some treatments, but still not much. It's improved since then, my cousin's wife is nearly symptom free most of the time... Sean is not so fortunate. My friends, and my family, need your help to fight it, and retain quality of life. Please help in any way you can. Help me meet my personal goal so that I can be out there with the rest of the team.
