New Layout Time

You know, I've been doing all these layouts for other people and other stuff.  I love doing them, so sometimes I will just start one without being asked and then present it as a gift.

My latest artsy fartsy was for an RPG I'm involved in.  [livejournal.com profile] gateways_2_dawn which I'd said I would do for a really long time and finally got around to finding images to work with.

Anyway, so it's been over a year since I changed my layout here.  I decided to give it a bit of a makeover.  I"ll probably still tweak it some... and probably will end up changing my desktop theme locally to match it as it has also been the same for WAY longer than I usually leave it.  Maybe that's all a symptom of how everything in my life has seemed to be standing still... like I'm waiting for something.  Well right now I'm waiting for the other shoe to fall I guess... I'm going to have to do something to protect myself from it.  *puts up umbrella* Ok.. now I feel better.

OH hahah I will have to make some changes. I'll have to change my icons.  These ones don't match any more.. well anyway, I'll do that later.

Interesting. That sounds like a difference between the settings of the two monitors. One may be set with its contrast and color settings to 'warm' and the other may be set to 'cool' or something similar. Also I think a monitor under incandescent light will look a little different than one under flourescent light. Mine is an older LCD monitor and seems like thinks sometimes look a little darker on that, and it depends on the lighting in the room. Thankfully it's an old Mag Innovision, so even though it's an older LCD it's a pretty good one.
