I was instructed to share this...

Well, so this was actually supposed to be posted to [livejournal.com profile] nanomowhinging so I have taken out the PS's which only made sense there, and am now reposting the following where it belonged, but may as well leave it here too I guess, since people have already commented on it. Not like it's hurting anyone.

So... I was chatting with my friend the other day, you know... and when I'm talking sometimes the wrong word comes out of my mouth from the one I tried to say. We call that Dysverbia.  Well I also suffer from Dystypia too. But that has to do more with my left hand gets ahead of my right hand and when I'm chatting, I often a) don't catch it or b) don't bother since I know the person I'm talking to will know what I'm saying.  If I see it and it's really like "woah... that totally isn't the word I was aiming for at all."

Anyway, so I was chatting (online) with my friend the other day.  We were discussing the Nanowrimo, and I was explaining that I didn't think I would attempt it this year, just because of all the stuff I have going on (which I will eventually get to in another post.) but I experienced dysverbia and said "nonowrimo".  Odd that.  because I was specifically saying No, no wri mo!"   ....Maybe you had to be there.

'nonowrimo' *falling over giggling* Oh gods that's hysterical.

I can remember you having some unique dysverbia moments while living here, and it always made me giggle. 'Course I did understand what you were saying, but it was enormously funny whenever it would happen.

Yep, it was funny when she said that too, lol. She never would have even caught that she'd said that if I hadn't teased her about her particular word choice. *snickers* Ishte has come up with some of the darndest typos in the past, but we all love her for it, hehe. Makes life interesting. ;)

Yup... You know because I can type as fast as I talk most of the time. Sometimes I go back and fix em if I'm pretty sure it's so bad you'll have no idea what i mean.. but If I have an idea that it's understandable I don't always bother if I don't catch it until I am already way past it. *shrug* so you get to see my marvelous typing skills in all their glory. ^__^

It's even funnier when she does it in person...the look Ishte gets on her face, upon realizing she's done it again, is absolutely priceless.

Yep, and they're evil more spectacular when you're using a voice recognition program, lol. You manage to make "wordos" instead of "typos" then, and those are almost as intriguing, hehe. Of course, it's intriguing no matter which way you go. *snickers*

Lol, I've met up with her in person, but I don't think she had time to do her famous dysverbia antics in front of me that particular time. Maybe next time she comes to visit, she'll give me a demonstration, lol. She did demonstrate how, with glasses, and being taller than me, she had to stand on her tiptoes to just barely read the spines of the books on the shelf, whereas with me, I had poor eyesight while not wearing glasses and was shorter than her, and I could read the books just fine. Lol. Can't figure that one out for the life of me.

She did what? Okay that makes no sense at all. How could you read them and she couldn't? ISHTE! Pwease 'splain!
