I was instructed to share this...
Well, so this was actually supposed to be posted to
nanomowhinging so I have taken out the PS's which only made sense there, and am now reposting the following where it belonged, but may as well leave it here too I guess, since people have already commented on it. Not like it's hurting anyone.
So... I was chatting with my friend the other day, you know... and when I'm talking sometimes the wrong word comes out of my mouth from the one I tried to say. We call that Dysverbia. Well I also suffer from Dystypia too. But that has to do more with my left hand gets ahead of my right hand and when I'm chatting, I often a) don't catch it or b) don't bother since I know the person I'm talking to will know what I'm saying. If I see it and it's really like "woah... that totally isn't the word I was aiming for at all."
Anyway, so I was chatting (online) with my friend the other day. We were discussing the Nanowrimo, and I was explaining that I didn't think I would attempt it this year, just because of all the stuff I have going on (which I will eventually get to in another post.) but I experienced dysverbia and said "nonowrimo". Odd that. because I was specifically saying No, no wri mo!" ....Maybe you had to be there.
