My latest? Oh.. Mom's still in the hospital. Dad's still in Hospice, but now hospice is saying that he might not be able to stay there and might have to go to a nursing home, because obviously he can't go home now. Mom might need a nursing home too if she has to do any kind of rehabilitation, so if that's the case we'll try to get them in the same facility so they can at least see each other. I have not been able to see either since Sunday due to weather and/or illness... and now my car is broken down with no word yet when it can be fixed. Yay. >_<

*sigh* Life has been handing you all sorts of stress! With no car you can't work! And no car also means more stress with your parents in sad shape.
Honestly hospice is supposed to be for those that are dying, and need more empathetic care than some nursing home can give. Or is willing to give.
BTW...everyone in Elysium has been sending you, and your family, prayers and energy.

As for your fam...I have to believe things will work out, you know? It's the way I'm programmed.

anway...hospices can be tricky and so can the nursing homes. I used to work in one as a tech so I have seen both ends of the spectrum. It's a whole new ball game from what I hear. The insurance...and medicare ( if they have it) the precriptions...you know the whole damn nine yards.
Health care is a real issue for me, sorry don't want to rant. I sincerly hope things start to look up for you and your daughter...as well as the hole fam. Good luck and chat soon!
