You're a bit Republican, and probably more conservative than you realize. If you're still voting Democrat, maybe it's time that you stop.

How Republican Are You?

So erm... this is because I'm a Libertarian and the 28% Republican things have to do with taxes and my support of the fair tax... my 20% Democrat have to do with my support of personal rights etc.

Basic libertarian veiwpoint (very simplified):

1.) Government stays out of my personal life (i.e. none of their business who I marry, sleep with, live with, etc.  none of their business the choices I make about my body, my health care, what I eat, drink or otherwise ingest inhale or intake).

2.) Government stays out of my pocket (i.e. don't get in my pocket and take money I didn't offer you freely and hand it to someone else I don't necessarily agree with. Don't spend my money on crap we don't need, or or things people should be responsible for spending their money on themselves (i.e. health care, retirement, welfare, corporate bail outs etc.) 

3). Government should spend more time figuring out which laws we DON't need than they do trying to come up with new ones to pass.

Finally, those who would sacrifice freedom (i.e. personal responsibility/personal liberty) for security (i.e. not having to think for one's self/being unthreatened.) deserve neither.  The patriot act is an excellent example of such an abomination in it's curtailment of our personal liberties for the sake of security.
