Have you ever lied to a teacher to get out of a deadline? Eh... Probably?
What kind of magazines do you read? Crochet Magazines, also stuff like Popular Science and Popular Mechanics
What's your occupation? I work in Customer Care for a major telecom company.
What do you want most right now? A different house? (not going to happen until the housing market improves and I can sell THIS house.)
Think 2012's gonna happen? Eh... anything is possible. Not like I can stop it by myself if it does.
What's your current fandom/obsession/addiction? Fullmetal Alchemist, Tsubasa, Crochet (snicker), Cycling
What are you listening to right now? Himekami: Kokirico
What food could you eat every day for weeks and not get sick of? Sushi. Seriously love it.
What websites do you always visit when you go online? Livejournal, Dragon Cave, Ravelry.
What was the last thing you bought? um... *embarrassed* 5 roast beef sandwiches for $5 at Arby's... heh... seriously. Lunches for the next few days.
What's your favourite song right now? Seriously this can vary depending on my mood. A minute ago it was that Himekami song that was playing. Right now I like this Star Salzman remix of a Street Fighter 2 piece pretty well too.
Does the weather affect your mood? Not exactly. I don't like cold weather Really don't... but contrary to a previous meme I don't really suffer from SAD in winter. Not liking winter is not the same thing. I tend to be a high spirited person. I just wish I had the balls to ride my bike in the dead of winter. I seriously see some of these hardcore commuters doing and I'm just like.. Holy FUCK no WAY I could do that. (but I was out on my bike like the first week or March last year. March 8 I think. I posted about it on my LJ, so I was ready to go as soon as the first break in the weather happened.)
What is your zodiac sign? Scorpio
Do you want to learn another language? I would like to learn all of them. I currently speak Spanish, well enough to follow a movie without the subtitles, and Japanese well enough to catch when a subtitle hasn't exactly given a true translation. I also speak some snatches of Mandarin, Gaelic (Irish), Cantonese, Russian, German, French, Portuguese, Cherokee, Italian, Greek.... seems like there are some others. I know linguistic things about Language families like Bantu and Sino-Tibetan without actually speaking any the languages myself. I love linguistics.
5 things you can't live without. Cant? Food (including salt btw), Water, Air, Fire, Shelter. As I've said before, there is a huge difference between "Can't" and "Don't WANT to". I don't want to live without: My Bike, Music, Crafting supplies, At least one cat, Shoes. (this list is subject to change depending on what seems important at any given time. In winter My furnace probably seems more important than my Bike. I have a lot of Gemini in my sign it seems.) (see and now I like this Thomas Dolby song N.E.O. that's playing really well.)
Do you have any siblings? One brother. Older... Stodgier... WAY Stodgier...
What's something you'd like to say to someone right now? Stop bragging. Seriously, you brag about everything, from how important you are in xyz organization to your latest illness. Just stop. Learn to appreciate yourself from WITHIN yourself and you won't feel the need to try to draw appreciation from other people by bragging about every little thing. Seriously.
What are you looking forward to? Spring when I can get my bike back out. Would be nice to have Summer next year. Because really? We did not have Summer this year.
