Desktop Meme
I swiped this a long time ago from
indigocub But I wanted to finish my Apple
Green Trilly Skin before I displayed.
Da Rulez!
1) Take a screenshot of your desktop.
2) To capture a desktop:
For PC: Press "Print Screen" (prt sc) button.
For Macs: Shift+Apple+3.
Actually, I use a program called Image Grabber for this, because it captures EVERYTHING, including my widgets and so on.)
3) Open your graphics program-o-choice.
4) Press CTRL + V or select edit & paste.
5) Save image as a *.jpg, *.png, or *.gif.
6) Upload the screenshot to your image server.
7) Post your screenshot in YOUR blog (not mine) along with these instructions.
I'm going to shrink this down to a size that it will fit my layout, and give a link to the full size image if you click on it.

So I'm sure you all know I love FMA, so there's the proof. Funniest thing about this desktop is that My!Ed... from Chasing the Trail claims he doesn't actually know how to ride a bike. But I still love this drawing. See my widgets? Yay!

so that you can paste them to your graphics program using <CTRL V> but I don't know about you, but that rarely if ever works for me anymore. I have a little bitty prog called Image Grabber that I found.. it's freeware, which is also rare... and it works great. you tell it to go to screen capture mode and when you have the elements on the screen that you want, you click the "grab image" button on the little popup and there it is.. you can save it wherever you want right from that program too if you don't want to move it into another prog.
Let me see if I can find it.

This is not free as I thought. I forgot, but it's a free trial for 30 days, and then only $5.99 to buy it. I had forgotten that I'd actually paid for mine. I'm still using version 1.1 and it works great. Well enough that I was willing to actually pay that paltry sum to keep it! hee!
